A New Website, Nineteen Years On
Chantler Solutions is nineteen years old, and it has a new website.
The previous one launched on our sixteenth birthday. It was quick to build and cheap to run, but it was based on a blog theme, it was written in a generic agency voice, and it said very little about what I actually do. It didn’t even have a working contact page. This one does.
What’s new
- Work: real engagements, including caffeine.ai, Microsoft, ClearBank and Expana, and a few numbers I’m proud of.
- Services: the work I’m most often asked to do, including architecture reviews, cloud cost reduction, legacy modernisation, AI integration and MCP and Rust engineering.
- A plain voice. Chantler Solutions is a small company. When you hire it, you get me, so the site now says “I”.
How it’s built
Efficiency is one of my principles, so the site follows it too. It’s generated in advance by Zola, with no theme and no framework, and served from Cloudflare’s network. There’s no JavaScript, no cookies and no tracking, and nothing is loaded from anyone else’s servers: even the fonts come from this site. It also works in dark mode, if that’s how you like your screen.
The old posts
Everything worth keeping has come across. The April Fool’s jokes are still here, now clearly labelled, and so is the sixteenth-birthday post, for posterity. Old links redirect to their new homes.
If you’ve got a problem worth solving, get in touch.
